Learn English by learning about Nouns:
What is a noun? A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, animal, idea, or concept. If the noun is the name of a certain person, place, thing, animal, idea or concept, it is called a proper noun. A proper noun is always capitalized. For example, the word "store" is a noun, but because the word can mean any store, it is not capitalized. If you are talking about a certain store, that word would have to begin with a capital letter. When you are talking about just one noun, it is called a singular noun.
