Learn English by using Pronouns.
A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun.
Example:
It would not sound correct to say,Ryan went to Ryan's room.
So, we replace the name with a pronoun. Ryan went to his room.
Pronouns are divided by gender,by the speaker, the listener,objects, and by groups of people. There are male and female forms. We use male & female forms when referring to animals, as well.
Male-he, his, him
Female-she, her, hers
If you are the speaker, you say-I, me, my, mine
When talking to someone else, use the words you, your, yours
When referring to two or more people, you say-they, their, theirs, them, we, our, ours
(Use we/our/ours only if you are also talking about someone else & yourself.)
