Reflections on Research & LEARNNC

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for you to use LEARNNC. This marvelous website is freely available for your use. Their collected "Best of the Web" is your solution for doing research on virtually any subject. They also generously share their lesson plans, articles, and student activities. Students in grades K-8 can find practice activities in a range of subjects, simply by clicking on their grade level. These include Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Research (starting at Grade 2) & Geography. High School students can start their research on the web in the online media center, find reference materials to answer quick questions, and access their web-based tools such as translators and graphing calculators. Teachers can pay to take courses through this wonderful service. This is all provided by The School of Education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. UNC-CH ranks as the number 28 university in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Reports!
