Learn English is by learning more about nouns.

There are some nouns that don't have a singular form at all. These include:
bellows
cattle
dregs
measles
mumps
scissors
trousers

There are nouns that have no plural forms. These include:
copper
corn
cotton
gold
molasses
silver
sugar
wheat

Learn English by Learning Plural and Irregular Nouns:

When a noun ends in a consonant and the letter y, the plural form is made by changing the y to ies.
Examples:
baby babies
city cities
study studies

When a noun ends in a vowel and the letter y, the plural form is made by adding s.
Examples:
boy boys
day days
essay essays

When a nouns ends in a consonant before an o, the plural is formed by adding es.
Examples:
hero heroes
potato potatoes
veto vetoes

It may seem hard to learn English because there are times when the rules do not work. For example, these nouns that end in o only need an s to make them plural.
piano pianos
solo solos
studio studios

Most nouns that end in o need just an s to make them plural.

Nouns that end in f or fe can be changed to plural form by changing the f to ves.
Examples:
wife wives
knife knives
loaf loaves

Again, sometimes the rules do not work.
Examples:
chief chiefs
roof roofs
hoof hoofs

There are also irregular nouns. These nouns don't seem to follow any of the rules.
man men
woman women
child children
foot feet
tooth teeth
mouse mice
louse lice

How to make a noun mean more than one (plural):

The plural form of most nouns is created just by adding the letter s.
Example: If you mean more than one girl, you add s to the end of the word.
1 girl 3 girls

Words ending in certain letters need es at the end.
Words that end in -ch, sh, x, s or s-like sounds require an -es for the plural:

Examples:
1 watch 2 watches
1 dish 6 dishes
1 box 4 boxes
1 bus 3 buses
